My aunt has a yoga DVD for kids that she does with the whole group sometimes- I'm looking for something similar. I can't get out to the gym/ classes, so something like that would be so great for me and the boys.

Another great post, Denise ... You're so great at articulating what's on many moms' minds.

Just this week I registered for my first triathlon. My reasons for doing so are many, but chief among them has been that my two oldest kids haven't seen me exercise for a couple of years. Two years ago I was exercising, but during my lunch break or before everyone was up. And since the birth of my third, 10 months ago, I can count on one hand the number of times I've laced up my sneakers. (Lack of sleep, lunch-time feedings at daycare, and pumping breaks = very little time for a good workout.) I can't have them thinking that being active is just for daddy!

This winter I also pulled out my snowboard for the first time in five years ... the kids had heard about my "sweet ride" for years, but I don't think they really believed me until they saw it next to the van for our first family ski outing.

There are so many great reasons to exercise ... having fun with the kids is certainly one of the best.
